Corbett National Park: Corbett is famous for its wide variety of fauna & flora and its beautiful location, which is located in the foothills of the Himalayas, is mostly known for the herds of wild elephant, and Tigers.
More commonly seen wildlife includes wild elephant, monkey (black face, long tail), crocodiles, snakes, rhesus macaque, peacock, and several types of deer including chital, sambar, hog deer and barking-deer, monitor lizard, wild boar and jackal. Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary – another delight for the bird watchers have 415 birds have been spotted at the park, 117 of which migrate from Siberia and China. Ride through the rickshaws and walk in the sanctuary and you have the privilege of stopping by the water bodies to view the different species of birds.
After spending the night in Bharatpur move onto Ranthambore Wildlife Sanctuary – Ranthambhor National Park is one of the prime examples of Project Tiger’s conservation set in the Aravalli and Vindhya hills and is Rajasthan’s most renowned wildlife sanctuary. Apart from that a large numbers of Sambar, Chital, Nilgai, Gazzelle, Boars, Mongoose, Indian Hare, Monitor Lizards and a large number of birds.
